Update On Rumoured WWE Main Roster Call-Up For Oba Femi

Following last night's WWE Raw - which did not feature a rumoured appearance by NXT Superstar Oba Femi - an update on the potential main roster call-up has emerged.

Speculation began when @MarcPWN tweeted: "Rumors are circulating that Oba Femi said his goodbyes last night at #HalloweenHavoc - to the NXT Roster. The belief is that he may be #WWERaw bound, potentially as early as tonight."

Marc later clarified that the report came via a private source rather than PWN directly, and to take it with a grain of salt.

A follow-up report by Corey Brennan of Fightful suggested Oba Femi may not be leaving NXT for several months, tweeting the following:

"Oba has long been viewed as a future WWE Champion internally, as far back as winning the North American title. [...] Many in NXT see him as the man to dethrone Trick, most likely at NXT Stand And Deliver on WrestleMania weekend."

Oba recently lost his rematch with Tony D'Angelo at Halloween Havoc, failing to recapture the NXT North American Championship in a 'Tables, Ladders and Scares' match. There was a recent tease of an alliance (and possible romance angle) with recently-returned women's division star Nikkita Lyons.
