Update On Shinsuke Nakamura's WWE Raw Call-Outs
WWE are keeping secrets close to their chest
Over the last month or so since his unsuccessful pursuit of Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Shinsuke Nakamura has been targeting a mystery man. In several backstage promos, he has called out someone who at this moment in time has not been revealed to fans.
There has been some discussion online over who this could be, with some people pointing towards CM Punk, especially since Nakamura nailed Ricochet with a GTS fairly recently, which didn’t seem like an accident considering the talk of Punk going to WWE amongst fans. Some other potential references have been made across WWE programming too.
However, Fightful Select has revealed that when it comes to the identity of this mystery man, it is still very much a mystery to everyone backstage. Those who Fightful have spoken to in terms of talent haven’t been told anything about who Nakamura is referring to and the context of his promos. For now at least, WWE are keeping the identity of Nakamura’s target under wraps.
