Update On When Mercedes Moné Could Debut In AEW
When Mercedes Moné could potentially make her AEW debut revealed
The future of Mercedes Moné is uncertain, but all roads seemingly lead to All Elite Wrestling, with Moné heavily tipped to sign with Tony Khan’s promotion.
Despite being out injured for the past several months, Moné is wanted by both AEW and WWE, but AEW are believed to be in pole position after talks between WWE and Moné reportedly broke down in late December 2023.
In an update on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed when Moné could make her AEW debut, saying the following:
“I talked about her [Moné] going to AEW a while ago and I believe very strongly that she is going to AEW. I also believe that it is not imminent. I think they're probably going to get through this pay-per-view [Revolution] and then we will see the debut of Mercedes. It could come earlier but I would not expect her to be in the Royal Rumble Saturday. I would expect that she's pretty much going to AEW,” said Alvarez.
Like with any high profile free agent, until we see them in a ring or shaking hands with a company president then nothing is confirmed.
