WWE's final pay-per-view/premium live event of 2024 will be Survivor Series on November 30 but that won't be the company's final major event of the year. WWE are set to present Saturday Night's Main Event from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on December 14 and the show will be broadcast live on NBC in the United States and simulcast on Peacock.

Saturday Night's Main Event was listed alongside WWE's upcoming premium live events in a graphic during WWE Bad Blood on Saturday night. This is ultimately because WWE are planning to build up their Saturday Night's Main Event specials as PPV-calibre events, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

The Saturday Night's Main Event specials are expected to air quarterly. Jesse 'The Body' Ventura may also make his return to WWE programming, having recently signed a WWE Legends deal. Ventura worked as an announcer and interviewer on the initial run of Saturday Night's Main Event in the 1980s.

WWE originally aired Saturday Night's Main Event from 1985 until 1991. The show was briefly revived from 2006 until 2008 and WWE have utilised the classic name in recent years for their non-televised house shows.
