Update On WWE-TNA Working Relationship Following Jordynne Grace Royal Rumble Appearance

Latest on WWE and TNA working together following the Royal Rumble

WWE and TNA Wrestling produced a surprise for the Royal Rumble as TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace was the fifth entrant in the women's Royal Rumble match. Grace was presented as the Knockouts World Champion, making her way to the ring using her TNA music. She then had a moment with former TNA rival Naomi (who made her WWE return in the Rumble) and Grace put together a spirited performance before being eliminated by Bianca Belair.

Despite WWE and TNA working together for the show, it doesn't appear this will lead to a larger working relationship between the two companies. After Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast reached out to WWE, the company said there "wasn't anything more to add at this time" about a potential partnership with TNA.

"I reached out to WWE this morning regarding a work relationship with TNA. Was told there wasn't anything more to add at this time," Zarian tweeted.

Grace's appearance appears to have been similar in nature to Mickie James in 2022 where she was a part of the Rumble and WWE then ignored TNA's existence for the next two years.

Grace as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble came together one week before the match, with TNA and Grace said to be easy to deal with during the process.
