Vince McMahon To Be Involved With Creative Following WWE-UFC Merger
Vince McMahon is involved with WWE creative on a higher level
Vince McMahon will continue to be involved with WWE creative following the company's sale to Endeavor and merger with UFC under a new parent company, the 77-year-old has revealed during an appearance on CNBC today.
Speaking about his role in creative, McMahon noted he will be involved on the creative side of WWE "on a higher level" but he won't be "in the weeds." It has since been confirmed that Triple H will continue in his role as WWE Chief Content Officer, the position he has held since July 2022. It is assumed that Bruce Prichard will remain his second-in-command on the main roster.
McMahon has been back in WWE since forcing his way back into the company in January 2023 to facilitate a sale of the organisation. That sale went through today, with WWE set to merge with UFC later this year as part of an acquisition by Endeavor. McMahon will be the Executive Chairman of the Board in the new company.
Rumours in recent weeks had suggested that McMahon was involved with creative in the shadows, with McMahon-isms popping up on the company's programming. WWE President Nick Khan then said McMahon was "not that involved" with creative, confirming in a roundabout way that McMahon was, in fact, involved with creative.
