Vladimir Kozlov & Santino Marella Reunite On IMPACT Wrestling TV

A former WWE tag team reunited on the latest edition of IMPACT Wrestling TV.

IMPACT aired their latest show on Thursday, March 16 and Director of Authority Santino Marella had a reunion with Vladimir Kozlov backstage as the friends embraced. Kozlov was only on-screen for a few seconds before Dirty Dango almost referred to him by name, only to be stopped by Santino Marella, who reminded Dango that another company (WWE) owns the trademark to Kozlov.

Having uttered the words 'say his name', Joe Hendry appeared behind Marella and Dirty Dango. The Digital Media Champion revealed he wanted a rematch with Brian Myers for the gold as the Most Professional Wrestler and Moose had attacked him. Marella made the rematch official for Sacrifice on March 24 before he set up a tag team match pitting Hendry and Dango against Myers and Moose on next week's IMPACT. 

It was previously noted that Kozlov was backstage at IMPACT's latest tapings from Sam's Town in Las Vegas. Kozlov briefly worked as the Russian-language commentator for IMPACT on RuTube, while Santino Marella has been the promotion's on-screen authority figure since Hard to Kill in January 2023.

Marella and Kozlov were a tag team in WWE and they reigned as WWE Tag Team Champions for 76 days in late 2010 and early 2011.
