WWE NXT set to feature a Weaponised Steel Cage Match
The blood feud between Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne is set to go to the next level on the May 30 edition of WWE NXT, with the former tag partners set to clash in a Weaponised Steel Cage Match.
Dolin called out Jayne on the May 23 NXT, with Jayne saying she wants to settle things inside a steel cage. Dolin agreed to the initial challenge, but added that she wanted weapons in the cage, to which Jayne agreed.
The two have been at odds for several months, ever since Jayne booted Dolin’s face through the door of Bayley’s Ding Dong Hello! set in February. The former Toxic Attraction members have so far clashed twice in singles action, with Dolin getting the win at Roadblock in March, whilst Jayne picked up the victory on NXT TV in early May.
The two reigned as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions on two occasions, and at 249 days have the longest combined reign in the title’s history, with the belts first introduced in March 2021.
