What Happened After WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One Went Off The Air

What went down down once WWE went off the air last night at WrestleMania 40?

WrestleMania 40 Saturday ended with the second longest match in the history of WrestleMania as The Rock and Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, determining that the main event of WrestleMania Sunday between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes would be contested under Bloodline Rules.

Rhodes was left sitting in the ring as the show went off the air, as Rock and Reigns stood tall on the ramp. PWInsider has noted what went down after the screen went to black and the show came to a close. The celebration between the two Bloodline heels continued, as Rhodes remained in the ring “for a long time” in the aftermatch. His partner, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, joined him between the ropes. To “send the crowd home happy”, Rhodes’ music played out and the two men walked to the back together.

It seems as though the two sold the disappointment and physical toll the match took on both of them. As noted, Rhodes will be in action again tonight and Rollins will be defending his World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre.
