Leaked photos from a meeting between All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan and former WWE star Shane McMahon have been the talk of the wrestling world, with some thinking the previously unthinkable scenario of a McMahon in AEW could just become reality.
Rumours of some sort of potential relationship between McMahon and Khan have circulated for months, with this first meeting only adding fuel to the fire. But for all those thinking McMahon might walk out on the next Dynamite may have to temper expectation with Dave Meltzer revealing more on the nature of the meeting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Whilst the idea of Shane McMahon in AEW has been doing the rounds, this first meeting was nothing more than an initial ‘getting to know you’ exchange between McMahon and Khan, with the two believed to have simply talked about wrestling and were just getting to know one another.
This was allegedly the first ever meeting of any kind between the two, with Khan and McMahon having apparently never haven even spoken in the past.
Whether this initial meeting leads to more remains unknown, nor does this meeting guarantee that the two sides will form some sort of working agreement.
