Why WWE Stopped Cora Jade Vs. Jordynne Grace On NXT Revealed

As seen on the March 4 edition of WWE NXT, the singles bout between Jordynne Grace and Cora Jade was stopped, with ringside staff checking on Jade in the corner.

The referee ended the match there and then, with the bout awarded to Grace, and soon rumours swirled suggesting Jade had aggravated her knee. However, Cora Jade took to X/Twitter to set the record straight, stating:

"Got rocked for a sec but my knees are all good (decent 💀) Thanks for the concern," posted Jade.

There’s no word on whether Cora Jade has suffered any sort of debilitating injury, or if the stoppage was a precautionary measure, such is the importance of a wrestler’s well-being when dealing with potential head injuries. Alas, there is no word on the status of Jade’s shot at TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich at TNA Sacrifice on March 14.

Jade spent much of 2024 on the sidelines after tearing her ACL in January, returning to action in October 2024. Jade also missed several months of action in 2023.
