Women's Tag Team Title Match Set For WWE Royal Rumble 2021

The former champions will have a chance to reclaim the gold

Charlotte Flair and Asuka will defend the Women's Tag Team Championship for the second time at the Royal Rumble and they will face former champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.

Flair and Asuka defeated Baszler and Jax for the title at the TLC pay-per-view in December. They defended the belts for the first time on the Christmas Day episode of SmackDown against Bayley & Carmella and Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair.

Flair, Baszler and Jax will all be pulling double duty on January 31 as they have already declared for the Women's Royal Rumble. There has been some dissension between the former champions over their Royal Rumble ambitions, but if this will play into the finish of the Women's Tag Team Championship match remains to be seen.
