World Championship Match Set for IMPACT Sacrifice

The main event for Saturday 13 March is set

Rich Swann will put his IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Moose in the main event of IMPACT Sacrifice.

A match billed as 'several months in the making', Swann and Moose have clashed multiple times in the past few weeks, with the latter awarding himself the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and describing himself as the promotion's true champion.

Swann would attack Moose after his match with Jake Something on Tuesday's IMPACT Wrestling, causing executive Scott D'Amore to book the match between the two for the Sacrifice event, on Saturday 13 March.

The match between the two has already been pre-taped, with Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer revealing the winner. If you are interested in finding out, you can do so here.

The main-event for Sacrifice was made on an action-packed episode of IMPACT, one which also saw D'Amore legitimise the TNA World Heavyweight title that Moose has been carrying around, making it an active championship for the first time since 2017.

Another match announced for Sacrifice on Tuesday will see Fire N’ Flava - Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz - defend the Impact Knockouts Tag-Team Championships against Jordynne Grace and Jazz.
