Madi Wrenkowski is one of the newest members of the WWE NXT roster, and she has already made her debut on the developmental brand. Last night on NXT, under the new ring name of Wren Sinclair, the former NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champion was inserted into a number one contender’s battle royal to determine the next challenger for Lyra Valkyria’s NXT Women’s Championship.

WWE changed a bit of their own history when it comes to Sinclair’s debut, as it was claimed by the announce team that Sinclair was the one who injured Cora Jade during a recent live event match, ruling her out of action with an ACL tear for up to a year, therefore taking Jade’s spot in the match. However, it was actually Valkyria who Jade competed against prior to her injury. Sinclair on the other hand has not even competed on an NXT live event since signing with the company.

Sinclair made it to the last five in the battle royal before being dumped out by Kiana James. This was a solid debut for Sinclair in NXT, especially since she was claimed to be the cause of injuring one of the top names in the women’s division.
