WWE Announces Return Of Talking Smack

By popular demand...

WWE has formally announced the return of the popular post-show discussion series Talking Smack, which had reportedly been in the works. Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported the news on Friday, with WWE confirming.

The hosts for the new version will be Kayla Braxton and Xavier Woods. Previously, the show had been hosted by Renee Young and Daniel Bryan. It was announced Wednesday that Young had given notice to WWE, and would finish with the company after SummerSlam.

Talking Smack will debut on Saturday mornings on the free and paid tiers of WWE Network. Previously, Talking Smack aired right after SmackDown went off the air, as a continuation of the matches and storylines on the show.

The show's return had been rumored after the similar-featured Raw Talk had been re-instituted.

Talking Smack debuted in 2016, after the two main brands were split once more. The most memorable moment of its first run came shortly after the premiere, when The Miz lashed out at a retired Daniel Bryan, after Bryan criticized his wrestling style.
