WWE Confirm Bobby Lashley And Lana Have Been Released From Jail
Both Superstars were arrested during last night's episode of Raw.
Since Bobby Lashley returned to Monday Night Raw with Rusev's soon to be ex-wife Lana, he has been embroiled in a rivalry with The Bulgarian Brute. While the two Superstars are yet to face off one-on-one, they have brawled with one another on a weekly basis.
Following his match against Kevin Owens last night, Lashley and Lana were conducting a promo in the middle of the ring. They highlighted the presence of two detectives who were there to protect them from Rusev. However, the detectives failed to notice him, as he entered the ring and unleashed a Machka Kick on Lashley.
After the former United States Champion escaped, Lashley berated the detectives. He was subsequently arrested for his exuberance after bumping into one of the officers. Lana was also arrested after she slapped the lead detective.
WWE have now confirmed that Lashley and Lana have been released from jail. They wrote: "WWE.com has learned that Bobby Lashley and Lana have been released from a Nashville jail. Both Superstars have been reached out to for comment. After Rusev defied the restraining order placed against him and attacked Lashley on Monday Night Raw, the officer on hand decided to give The Bulgarian Brute a pass based on his knowledge of the ongoing situation. The officer did, however, cuff Lashley after The All Mighty shoulder-checked him while exiting, and Lana was next after she open-palm slapped Nashville’s finest on the ramp."
