WWE Expected To Make Change To Trick Williams Vs. Carmelo Hayes At NXT Stand & Deliver

WWE are expected to make an amendment to the main event of NXT Stand & Deliver. 

According to Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, a "clearer stipulation" is expected to be added to the main event match of Carmelo Hayes vs. Trick Williams ahead of Stand & Deliver. There is no word on what the stipulation for the match will be but the main event is currently scheduled to be a straight singles match with more lenient refereeing, as decreed by NXT GM Ava. 

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams had been allied in WWE NXT, only for Carmelo Hayes to turn on Williams at Vengeance Day earlier this year and reveal he was the man who laid out Trick in late 2023. The feud has been one of the hottest on WWE TV in recent months, with many comparing it to the best of the black & gold era. 

NXT Stand & Deliver will air on Saturday, April 6 from 12 pm ET/ 5 pm BST. The show will take place ahead of WrestleMania 40.
