During 2019, it became common knowledge that WWE Superstars Charlotte Flair and Andrade were dating. Images of the couple together have been regularly shared on social media and the pair recently worked together to file trademarks. Flair trademarked "The Queen Of Wrestling" and "Ashley Flair," while Andrade trademarked "El Idolo" and his old CMLL name "La Sombra."

Now the couple has taken the next step as the United States champion proposed to Charlotte on New Year's Eve, and she said yes.

Both Superstars confirmed the news on Twitter as

Flair tweeted:

"si" accompanied by an image of the couple together in which she prominently displays her new engagement ring. Andrade confirmed the news on his own Twitter account soon after,

writing:

"She said Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!"

Now, Charlotte's father Ric Flair has tweeted his reaction to the news, in which he congratulated his daughter and his future son-in-law.

The 16 time World champion wrote:

"Congratulations To My Beautiful Daughter @MsCharlotteWWE And An Awesome Young Man  @AndradeCienWWE On Their Engagement! So Happy, So Proud! What A Way To Start 2020!"
