WWE Hires New Writer For Bray Wyatt

Is a Bray Waytt return on the horizon?

In a sign that his return to television may be near, WWE have hired a new writer to work on material for Bray Wyatt.

Speaking during a recent edition of his Oh...You Didn't Know podcast, Brian 'Road Dogg' James said: "We have a new writer, actually, for Bray now. So we'll see how all of that unfolds down the road"

WWE's current SVP of Live Events was explaining how the company previously had one writer specifically working on The Eater of World's promos.

Wyatt has been absent for the past couple of months due to a reported illness. He was scheduled to take on Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, before being withdrawn from the road.

Though his return is likely still a 'little while away', Bray is said to be 'excited' about coming back into the mix.

Wyatt was left out of the recent WWE Draft. He has wrestled 12 matches since returning at Extreme Rules in October. Only one of those - his Lights Out victory over LA Knight at the 2023 Royal Rumble - was televised.
