WWE are interested in signing several All Elite Wrestling stars, including Ricky Starks, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Johnson noted that numerous WWE sources stated there is "certainly interest" in a number of AEW stars whose deals are close to expiring or have been off TV for some time. One of those talents is Ricky Starks, although there is no word on whether WWE and Starks have been in contact, nor how long the former AEW World Tag Team Champion remains under contract with the promotion.

PWInsider also noted that WWE remain interested in Daniel Garcia, who has still not signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling. It has been noted in recent days that the Lucha Bros are expected to leave AEW for WWE and they were also included on the list of talents WWE are interested in by PWInsider.

Ricky Starks has been off AEW TV since the March 30 edition of AEW Collision. Starks suffered an injury on that show but he has since recovered and simply hasn't been brought back to TV. Starks reportedly turned down a pitch to turn babyface to work a programme with his now-ex tag team partner Big Bill as he didn't feel the former W. Morrissey losing a programme to him would be beneficial for Big Bill.

Past reports have noted that Ricky Starks has heat with some in All Elite Wrestling and people in the promotion believe Starks wants to go to WWE. Starks is known to be a close friend of Undisputed WWE Champion and former AEW EVP Cody Rhodes.
