A drastic increase in viewership

The first episode of WWE NXT 2.0 reportedly drew the brand's highest viewership since April.

WWE presented a new look and new vibe for NXT on the Tuesday 14 September episode, complete with a number of new names and fresh production. NXT 2.0's first broadcast, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, saw a huge jump in audience numbers.

This past Tuesday's episode of NXT drew 770,000 views, a number which is significantly higher than the 601,000 that tuned in for the September 7 episode of NXT.

Furthermore, the viewership was the highest NXT has seen since the April 20 broadcast, which was the second for the brand following the switch to Tuesday nights.

The report goes on to say that the September 14 episode scored a 0.21 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which equates to around 275,000 views . For comparison, last week's episode posted a 0.14 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The first episode of NXT 2.0 also saw a new NXT Champion crowned, as Tommaso Ciampa claimed the vacated title in a Fatal 4-Way Match also including LA Knight, Pete Dunne and Von Wagner.
