WWE NXT Championship Number One Contenders Match Set For Next Week
Who will challenge Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver: In Your House?
Johnny Gargano, Kyle O'Reilly and Pete Dunne will meet next week in a triple threat match to determine the new number one contender to the NXT Championship.
Last night's episode of NXT saw general manager William Regal make the announcement that the three men will clash, with the winner then challenging the NXT champion at TakeOver: In Your House 2021 next month.
In the main event of last night's episode of the black-and-gold brand, reigning champion Karrion Kross successfully defended the belt against former champion Finn Balor, having won the Title from The Prince on Night Two of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, meaning he will take on one of Gargano, O'Reilly or Dunne at the June 13, 2021 event.
WWE have slightly teased a potential match between Kross and O'Reilly, with the two coming face-to-face in the weeks following Stand & Deliver.
It was also previously announced that next week’s NXT show will also feature Legado del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde challenging MSK for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
