WWE NXT UK Officially Announces The Signing Of Ben Carter
He joins the likes of WALTER and Ilja Dragunov on the UK brand...
Ben Carter wowed the professional wrestling world earlier this year with his matches in All Elite Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling. The Prodigy Of Pro Wrestling faced the likes of Chris Sabin, Ricky Starks, Scorpio Sky and Lee Johnson and received praise from many.
Both AEW and IMPACT Wrestling were reportedly interested in signing Carter, but it emerged back in October that he had opted to sign with WWE NXT UK.
WWE officially announced Carter's signing on last night's episode of NXT UK during a pre-taped video package. William Regal, Nigel McGuinness and Seth Rollins all talked about how impressive the man from Jersey is and the company emphasised that he trained at Rollins' wrestling school.
Carter wrestling in NXT UK ultimately allows him to get paid for his work inside the squared circle. The Prodigy Of Pro Wrestling lacked a visa to work in the United States and he wrestled in AEW and IMPACT Wrestling for free. Him signing with WWE NXT circumvents this issue.
