WWE Plans For Giulia Revealed

Update on WWE's plans for Giulia

While her signing has not been officially confirmed by the company, Giulia has indeed signed with WWE. The former World of STARDOM Champion was shown in the crowd alongside William Regal and Rossy Ogawa during NXT Stand & Deliver ahead of the NXT Women's Title match between Roxanne Perez and Lyra Valkyria. Giulia then shared a photo of her with Triple H backstage following her appearance.

It has been rumoured for months that WWE was interested in Giulia, with it emerging in early 2024 that she was expected to join the company after helping with the launch of Rossy Ogawa's new promotion.

Fightful Select's Corey Brennan has now reported that Giulia will report to the WWE Performance Center and NXT after completing her remaining dates. An immediate main roster debut has been ruled out for the 30-year-old.

There had been rumours over the past several months that there were concerns about Giulia being too stiff for the American style. These rumours are not an issue for WWE, however, and have been dismissed within the company. Although not considered an issue, WWE officials are believed to be happy with Giulia's progress in learning English.

Giulia has been wrestling since 2017, initially debuting in Ice Ribbon before she headed to World Wonder Ring STARDOM in 2019. Giulia was one of Stardom's top stars until she departed the company earlier this year.
