WWE made a change to their plans for the post-Battleground edition of WWE NXT, which is scheduled to air on Tuesday, May 27.

The show was originally set to emanate from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida as part of a four-show stay at the venue for WWE which includes Saturday Night's Main Event, NXT Battleground, and Monday Night Raw. The NXT TV taping has been cancelled, though.

No official reason was given for the cancellation, but WrestleTix noted that around 1,700 tickets had been distributed for the NXT TV taping, while the Yuengling Center is set up for a capacity of just below 10,000. Saturday Night's Main Event and Raw are close to selling out, while over 6,000 tickets have been distributed for Battleground.

Following the cancellation, NXT commentator Vic Joseph announced on Tuesday's episode of NXT that next week's post-Battleground show will be taped from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. NXT TV is taped at the WWE Performance Center when the brand isn't on the road.
