WWE Raw To Air From Saudi Arabia Later This Year

WWE Raw from Saudi Arabia later this year

WWE Raw will air from Saudi Arabia for the first time ever later this year.

Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh announced in a press release that Monday Night Raw will be taped from the Middle East following the Crown Jewel pay-per-view on Saturday, November 2. The shows will take place over two consecutive days meaning Raw will be taped on Sunday, November 3 before airing on Monday, November 4.

WWE have worked with the Saudi government to bring events to the Middle East since 2018 beginning with the Greatest Royal Rumble. The partnership was expanded in 2019 and WWE have held two shows in Saudi Arabia ever since.

WWE TV aired from Saudi Arabia for the first time earlier this year when SmackDown was broadcast from the country ahead of King & Queen of the Ring.

One of WWE's major events looks set to be held in Saudi Arabia in the coming years as Turki Alalshikh stated earlier this year that the country wanted the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania in 2026 or 2027. The Royal Rumble and WrestleMania have never taken place outside of North America.
