WWE Still Working On Length Of Raw On Netflix

WWE Raw will go back to being a two-hour show from tonight's edition through the rest of the year. 

But will the show revert to its three-hour format when it lands on Netflix starting in January 2025? That is a question WWE Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque is unsure the answer of. 

Asked about the length of Raw when it moves to Netflix during the post-Bad Blood press conference, Levesque said:

"When I find out, I'll let you know. In this moment, where Raw goes down to two hours, what does that do for us? It's an hour less show. If you would have asked me a few years ago, three hours was just, the difference between two and three is night and day. I can't even express how different it is. Now, we're in a place where we're doing a three hour show and it's going to drop to two. It's a different way of looking at it and it's a little bit of stress because it's less. I think sometimes less is more and that's going to be a good thing. When we get to Netflix, we're still working through all that. The truth is, you guys will have to watch and see, and I'm going to wait and see. No matter what the length of time is, it's about putting out the best product we can and telling the best stories we can. At the end of the day, it's about telling stories. We get caught up in two hours or three hours, the movie is the movie. When the movie is over, it was either really good or not good or too long or too short. We're just making a movie three times a week with more to come. I approach it in that manner. Let's write the best stories and we'll try to figure out how to jam it into whatever time slot we have available".

A previous report noted that Raw's runtime can be adjusted when it moves to Netflix, giving WWE creative more leeway when it comes to things like making main event finishes more unpredictable.
