Yesterday evening, the
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Departmentconfirmed there had been a shooting at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada. The shooting began after a group of teenagers got into an argument, but before they got into a physical altercation, one of them pulled out a gun and fired into a crowd of shoppers.
Two people were injured and they were transported to a local medical facility. Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The gunman remains at large, however, as they fled the scene soon after the shooting.
Women's Tag Team Champion Asuka was shopping at the mall when the shooting began. She explained, however, that she was far enough away from the incident that she was able to seek refuge in a GUESS shop next to a shooting range. She mentioned that while she was protected, she could hear screams in the mall.
The Empress Of Tomorrow tweeted
: "I just escaped! There was a scream in front of me at #FashionShowMall. It was like shooting. #GUESS near the shooting range protected me."
She then added:
"I heard screams from outside the door several times after fleeing to GUESS.
