WWE's Reaction To Danhausen's Recent Momentum

Danhausen’s first few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind. His Elimination Chamber 2026 debut was highly critiqued due to WWE’s level of hype for the reveal of what was inside a mystery crate, featuring heavy boos from the Chicago crowd. WWE were well aware of the disastrous start for Danhausen, but were then reportedly happy with how things bounced back on the following episode of Monday Night RAW.

The very evil, very nice new WWE signing has shown up on every event since then, getting fans behind him and growing in popularity. Fightful Select have revealed WWE’s recent reaction to Danhausen’s form. It is noted that those in WWE were “happy” with the fact that Danhausen has experienced a quick turnaround. 

It is also said that those in WWE were well aware that the debut segment at Elimination Chamber was a flop, but Danhausen was reportedly not deterred by this, with Fightful Select stating that the reaction “didn’t rattle him and he responded well”. 

Over the last couple of weeks, it was revealed that CM Punk was the one who spearheaded WWE’s signing of Danhausen after those in the company were divided on his signature.
