Xavier Woods Returns On WWE RAW
WWE RAW saw the return of Xavier Woods
After an absence of nearly two months, Xavier Woods made his WWE return on the January 15 edition of RAW, confronting IMPERIUM on the show.
Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser were cutting a promo in the ring when Woods came down, challenging Kaiser to a match on the spot.
With IMPERIUM taking Kofi Kingston out after the former WWE Champion put Giovanni Vinci on the shelf, Woods vs. Kaiser was a heated affair, with Kaiser getting the DQ win after Woods blasted him with a steel chair.
Kaiser had originally intended to use the chair on Woods, and after the match Kaiser attempted to stamp Woods’ head into the steel steps, only for Woods to evade it and throw the steps and Kaiser, barely missing the German in the process. Issues between the two would carry on backstage, with Jey Uso saving Woods from a Kaiser attack.
Woods last wrestled on the November 27 2023 edition of RAW, with Woods teaming with New Day partner Kingston in the Tag Team Turmoil match that was won by The Creed Brothers. Recent reports indicated that the former King of the Ring would be returning to WWE TV imminently.
