AEW Collision Draws New Record-Low Viewership In Regular Time Slot

Record low for AEW Collision when airing from 8 pm to 10 pm ET

AEW Collision drew a record-low viewership when airing in its regular time slot for the August 31 episode. The show averaged 289,000 total viewers and finished with a 0.10 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.

The August 31 episode aired over Labor Day weekend in the United States and went head-to-head with the first full week of the college American football season. WWE Bash in Berlin also aired earlier in the day and WWE pay-per-views have typically resulted in some of AEW Collision's worst ratings.

Compared to the same week in 2023, Collision was down 16.2 per cent in total viewers and down 9.1 per cent in the 18-49 demographic.

AEW Collision's record-low viewership remains the August 3 episode that aired from 5 pm to 7 pm ET. That show averaged 189,000 viewers and a 0.08 rating on TNT. AEW Collision's regular time slot is Saturday nights from 8 pm to 10 pm ET.

Matches on the August 31 episode of Collision included a four-way to determine the number one contender for the TBS Championship, Kyle Fletcher vs. Tomohiro Ishii, and Buddy Matthews vs. Komander.
