AEW World Tag Team Title Match Set For WrestleDream 2024

The number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Titles have been decided

The 2024 WrestleDream PPV is fast approaching, taking place next Saturday on October 12 in the Tacoma Dome. Over the weekend, more matches were made official for the card.

On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, the main event saw three teams battling it out to be named as the new number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Private Party continued to build on their recent momentum by scoring a big victory over the duos of Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) and The House Of Black (Malakai Black & Buddy Matthews), earning a shot at The Young Bucks at WrestleDream.

This follows on from Dynamite where Private Party and The Young Bucks went back and forth in both a promo and a brawl.

Additionally, the opponent for Darby Allin at WrestleDream was officially revealed too, as Brody King attacked Allin on Collision, answering his open challenge for the PPV.

The updated card for WrestleDream 2024 is as follows;

  • Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jon Moxley - AEW World Championship
  • The Young Bucks (c) vs. Private Party - AEW World Tag Team Championships
  • Mariah May (c) vs. Britt Baker or Willow Nightingale - AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Jack Perry (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata - TNT Championship
  • Will Ospreay (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Ricochet - AEW International Championship
  • Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Chris Jericho - ROH World Championship
  • Darby Allin vs. Brody King
  • Zero Hour: Atlantis Jr. vs. Brian Cage - ROH Television Championship
