Aussie Open Vs. The Young Bucks Set For February 24 AEW Rampage

Aussie Open and The Young Bucks to clash on AEW Rampage

After failing to win the Tag Team Battle Royale on the February 22 edition of AEW: Dynamite, The United Empire’s Aussie Open are set to fight for bragging rights on the February 24 edition of Rampage when they take on The Young Bucks in tag team action.

This will be the first traditional tag match between two teams considered amongst the best in the world, with the four men only clashing once before in trios action, when The Elite team of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks defeated the United Empire trio of Will Ospreay and Aussie Open in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament on an August 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite.

This will be the sixth televised match in AEW for the team of Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis, with the team first stepping through the ‘Forbidden Door’ from New Japan in June 2022.

Despite being prominently featured in NJPW as part of Will Ospreay’s United Empire, Aussie Open recently revealed that they aren’t signed to deals with NJPW, despite reigning as the inaugural NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions in 2022, and reaching the finals of the 2022 World Tag League.
