Bobby Lashley Says He Hasn't Had Much Of A Connection With Triple H

Bobby Lashley and Triple H haven't struck up a strong relationship in WWE

Bobby Lashley looks to be on his way out of WWE after reports have been swirling for several weeks about his contract expiring with the company this weekend, with this also stoked by MVP officially leaving WWE, and the potential of a Hurt Business reunion outside of WWE making the rounds.

Lashley has broken his silence amidst the news-storm surrounding his name, though he didn’t offer any insight on his contractual status with WWE during an interview on The Laboratory with Plaz. He did however respond to a question about whether he preferred working under Triple H or Vince McMahon, to which he revealed that he hadn’t struck up a relationship with HHH.

“If I say the wrong thing right now [laughs]. I had a connection with Vince. Vince understood me. Vince was big on, like, the show. He looked at people that were stars, and he saw that in me. And there were a lot of little nuggets that Vince would give me all the way throughout my career and tell me different things. So Vince just looked at me, he was like, ‘I can tell Bobby works his ass off. I can send him anywhere around the country to represent the company [and] the brand.’ He just looked at me like a star. So I like Vince [in this comparison]. I haven’t really had too much of a connection with Hunter. Hunter has his guys. And I’ve tried to, but we haven’t really worked enough together to get to know each other.”
