Cassie Lee & Shawn Spears Welcome Birth Of First Child

Congratulations to Cassie Lee and Shawn Spears, who welcomed the birth of their first child! The couple announced on social media that their son - Austin Jay - was born on Tuesday, January 17. 

Lee and Spears announced back in August 2022 that they were expecting their first child. They were previously married in August 2019. 

Shawn Spears is currently a part of All Elite Wrestling and was one of the promotion's first major signings. He has been a heel for much of his run, although he revived his Perfect 10 persona during a brief return to AEW in October of 2022. He performed at the promotion's tapings of Dynamite and Rampage from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Spears competed at an independent wrestling event on October 15. He has not wrestled since. 

Cassie Lee was most recently a part of IMPACT Wrestling where she performed alongside longtime tag team partner Jessica McKay as The IInspiration. They departed the promotion after failing to regain the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships in April 2022, with The IInspiration announcing they were taking an indefinite break from pro wrestling soon after.
