Daniel Garcia Yet To Sign New AEW Deal Despite All In Return

No new deal signed by Daniel Garcia despite AEW All In 2024 return

All In 2024 featured several returns by All Elite Wrestling stars, with Daniel Garcia making his presence felt during the AEW American Championship bout between MJF and Will Ospreay.

Garcia had been written off AEW TV by MJF in July in the build to All In, with AEW running the angle in case Garcia didn’t sign a new deal with the promotion. However, despite Garcia’s appearance seemingly indicating that he had signed a new contract with the promotion, a report from PWInsider claims that Garcia is still yet to sign a new deal.

‘Red Death’s current deal is slated to run until October 2024, and despite having not committed to a new deal, AEW President Tony Khan revealed during the post-All In media scrum that he sees Garcia’s involvement at the PPV a ‘good sign’:

"I don’t want to necessarily comment on everybody’s contract length or status, but Daniel is here, and he’s a great part of AEW. We’ve been having great success. It’s been about three years with Daniel here. He started with us at Daily’s Place and was on that run of shows before we went back in front of crowds. He’s somebody who has been with us for a long time and is beloved by the fans and backstage. We love having Daniel here. Without saying exactly what’s going on, it’s a good sign that he was here. Really great to have him come and take that next step tonight. It was a great payoff to a lot of storytelling," Khan said.
