Jonathan Gresham Signs With IMPACT Wrestling

Jonathan Gresham back in IMPACT Wrestling

One of the top free agents on the market has signed with IMPACT Wrestling.

After several months away from the promotion, Jonathan Gresham returned to IMPACT Wrestling on their latest episode on AXS. Gresham returned to the show to save former ROH booker Delirious from a post-match beatdown from Eddie Edwards. Gresham's reemergence prompted Edwards to scurry out of the ring and both men exchanged words, setting up a match for Hard To Kill 2023.

IMPACT then announced that Gresham has signed with the company.

The Octopus made his IMPACT debut in January, appearing in the promotion as ROH World Champion while Ring of Honor was on hiatus for Q1 2022. He debuted with a win over Chris Sabin and Gresham went on to defeat Steve Maclin, Kenny King, and Rocky Romero before finishing up with IMPACT after Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor.

Gresham's run under the new ROH regime was not a successful one, though, and he was granted his release from the promotion after a heated discussion with Tony Khan before the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view. Gresham dropped the ROH World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli on that show.

Since his ROH release, Gresham has competed on the independents for the likes of PROGRESS Wrestling and GCW.

Jonathan Gresham previously appeared on Cultaholic Wrestling's Desert Island Graps. Check out the episode here.
