Nick Jackson Worked AEW All Out With An Injury

He suffered the injury on Collision the night prior.

AEW star Nicholas Jackson worked the promotion's All Out pay-per-view, despite suffering an injury 24 hours earlier.

The Young Bucks successfully defended their AEW World Tag Team Titles at All Out, defeating the duo of Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli. The night before, however, The Bucks teamed with Elite stablemates Jack Perry and Kazuchika Okada in a losing effort to Yuta, Castagnoli, PAC and Bryan Danielson.

It was during this eight-man tag during the special Friday night edition of Collision that Nicholas Jackson suffered his injury.

Speaking about the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez said:

"So if you watched the Collision match where Nick Jackson got pinned when Claudio spun him, and then Wheeler did the dropkick. If you watch the match, he [Nick] gets pinned, and then he immediately goes for his shoulder, and he's holding that shoulder all the way to the back. As it turned out, he got hurt in that match and worked this entire match despite being injured, and you never would have known".

Dave Meltzer then added that viewers may have known, since Jackson's shoulder was taped up at All Out, which led to a discussion about how several talents in AEW have body parts taped up at the moment, including Danielson and Will Ospreay.

All Out ended up selling out the NOW Arena in Chicago following a late surge in ticket sales.
