Report: AAA Star Returns To IMPACT Wrestling At Recent Tapings

Spoilers inside

IMPACT Wrestling held their latest set of TV tapings over the weekend and yesterday. The promotion filmed a couple of months worth of content following the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 16.

According to Luchablog, AAA star Black Taurus was present at the TV tapings and is scheduled to appear on upcoming episodes of IMPACT Wrestling. He was reportedly working as a freelancer in AAA and it appears the Mexican promotion was not involved in his negotiations with IMPACT.

Dave Meltzer has since also reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Taurus is not under contract with AAA and was present at IMPACT's latest tapings.

This will be Taurus's first appearance in IMPACT since January 2020 when he worked the promotion's TV tapings in Mexico City. He faced off against Rhino and Moose in a Three-Way on the January 21 show and then later faced both men in singles action.

Taurus first competed in IMPACT back in February 2019 when he teamed with The Lucha Brothers against LAX and Daga.
