Report: Megan Bayne's AEW Contract Quietly Expires

Megan Bayne no longer signed with AEW

Megan Bayne's contract with All Elite Wrestling has quietly expired.

Creative pitches for Megan Bayne were being made within AEW earlier this year after she finished up with World Wonder Ring STARDOM. Fightful Select has since reported, however, that Megan Bayne is no longer with All Elite Wrestling and she hasn't been signed for "quite a while."

This ultimately makes Bayne a free agent but she is back in talks with AEW. Whether Bayne will re-sign with the promotion is unknown but there have been discussions over a new deal and creative pitches have been made, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported.

Megan Bayne worked six matches for AEW across Dark and Dark: Elevation in 2021 and 2022. She also had a dark match at a Rampage taping in the Summer of 2023, teaming with Emi Sakura in a loss to Willow Nightingale and Maki Itoh.

Bayne headed to STARDOM in July 2023 and formed Divine Kingdom with Maika. Her STARDOM run in Japan finished up in January and Bayne has since unsuccessfully challenged her former tag team partner for the World of STARDOM Championship at the company's show over WrestleMania weekend.

Bayne has primarily wrestled for GCW since returning to the United States, but she has also worked shows for the likes of Wrestling Open and Beyond Wrestling.
