Stipulation Added To Undisputed WWE Title Match At WWE Clash At The Castle 2024

AJ Styles vs. Cody Rhodes will have a stipulation at Clash At The Castle

During last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, it was made official that a rematch between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles would be taking place at the upcoming WWE Clash At The Castle PLE in Glasgow, Scotland, with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. This comes after Styles faked a retirement last week, before cementing himself once again as a heel and attacking Rhodes, following him being denied a title rematch by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.

On SmackDown, Rhodes called out AJ Styles but security prevented them from getting physical. Styles demanded a title match, which was agreed to by Rhodes, on the premise that their bout would be an “I Quit” match this time around. Nick Aldis would go on to make this official. Despite Rhodes’ best attempts to attack Styles, it was the heel who managed to sneak in a cheap shot thanks to the security holding back the champion.

Rhodes previously defeated Styles at the Backlash: France PLE early last month, which was the first ever singles meeting between the two individuals. In the weeks since, Styles looked to question his career, becoming more desperate in his attempts to get “one more shot”.
