Trick Williams Comments On Ethan Page's WWE NXT Debut

Trick Williams has spoken out after Ethan Page’s WWE NXT debut

The May 28 edition of WWE NXT saw Ethan Page make his shocking debut in the company, with ‘All Ego’ attacking Trick Williams, crushing the NXT Champion with a big knee in the corner.

Williams was a guest on The Sporting Tribune, where Trick commented on the arrival of Page into NXT ahead of Battleground on June 9:

“Yeah, man. Up to this point, I don’t know who my challenger will be [at Battleground]. I know Ethan Page tried to skip the line and jump on to our show and take out the champ — he must have bumped his head, somebody done told him wrong. Don’t worry about it, we’re gonna fix that. Up to this point, still haven’t been told who my challenger will be. So, I’m just doing what I do. I’m staying in the gym, I’m staying in the ring, staying in top shape so I can put on a show regardless,” said Trick.

Page will certainly be angling for a shot at the gold after making such a splash in his debut appearance, and it remains to be seen if the former ‘Man of the Year’ will be in attendance at tonight’s NXT TV taping.
