Latest on injuries from recent ROH TV tapings
A recent round of Ring of Honor TV tapings saw a scary injury happen mid-match, with enhancement talent Kelly Madan accidentally knocked out during a match with Lady Frost on Octopber 2.
Madan suffered the injury when Frost’s legs collided with her head/neck during an aerial manoeuvre, with Madan stretchered out of the arena as Ring Of Honor officials dimmed the lights.
An update from PWInsider states that Madan was rushed to the nearby hospital, which was luckily right next to the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh where the taping sessions were held. The belief is that Madan suffered a concussion and was thankfully alert and coherent after being admitted to the medical facility.
The word is that Madan did not suffer any further injuries.
The tapings also saw ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara suffer injury after being legit knocked out, and as of writing there has been no confirmation of the injuries suffered by Guevara, although it is believed he too has been concussed. Guevara was accidentally KO’d during a singles bout against Serpentico at the tapings after a miscommunication during a diving cutter attempt.
