AEW Dynamite 250 Draws Best Viewership For 3 Months

Best viewership for three months for AEW Dynamite

The special 250th episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, July 17 recorded All Elite Wrestling's flagship show's best viewership for three months.

Wrestlenomics reported that AEW Dynamite averaged 795,000 total viewers and a 0.27 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. July 17 was AEW Dynamite's best total viewership since April 10 and the best rating in the 18-49 demo for Dynamite since June 5. Overall, AEW Dynamite finished #7 on Wednesday on cable in the key demo, finishing below coverage of the Republican National Convention and the WNBA game between the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever. 

The quarter-hours for Dynamite, reported by Wrestlenomics, revealed that viewership was consistent during the 59-minute opening contest between Will Ospreay and MJF for the AEW International Championship. Total viewership was between 829,000 and 871,000 from 8 pm until 9:15 pm ET, while viewership in the 18-49 demo ranged from 364,000 viewers to 388,000. Viewership fell gradually following Ospreay vs. MJF and the overrun of Dynamite finished with 685,000 total viewers and 305,000 in 18-49. 

Outside of MJF vs. Will Ospreay, AEW Dynamite featured a Champion vs. Champion Match between Swerve Strickland and Kazuchika Okada, a promo segment with Chris Jericho and Minoru Suzuki, and Mercedes Moné vs. Nyla Rose for the TBS Title.
