Charlotte Flair Teases WWE Return
Is Charlotte Flair ready to step back into the ring?
WWE star Charlotte Flair could be about to return to the ring, if her social media activity is any indication.
The Queen posted several 'stories' to her Instagram account yesterday, some of which showed her wearing the SmackDown Women's Championship belt. One of the stories showed Flair wearing wrestling boots and sitting on what appeared to be a wrestling ring canvas.
Flair last appeared for WWE at WrestleMania Backlash, where she lost the SmackDown Women's Title to Ronda Rousey in an "I Quit" Match. WWE subsequently wrote her off television, claiming that she had suffered a distal radius fracture during the bout.
In actuality, Charlotte was granted time off. A few weeks after Backlash, Flair married AEW star Andrade El Idolo. She then took further time off for 'personal reasons'.
Since then, there has been much speculation with regards to when Charlotte may return. The most recent report on Flair's condition - courtesy of her brother-in-law Conrad Thompson - was that she was 'fine' both physically and 'emotionally'.
In the same report, her father Ric said that he had 'no idea' about Charlotte's status, noting that she keeps everything to herself.
