Drew McIntyre "Quits" WWE On Raw

Drew McIntyre walked out on WWE Raw

Following his loss to World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest in front of a hometown crowd at Clash at the Castle on June 15, WWE fans were eager to hear what Drew McIntyre had to say to Priest, and to CM Punk.

On the June 17 edition of WWE Raw, McIntyre made his way to the ring to address Punk screwing him out of the title once more at Clash at the Castle, but could barely compose his thoughts on the mic. After mentioning Punk by name - which drew ‘CM PUNK’ chants from the crowd - McIntyre said “Screw this company. I can’t do this anymore, I quit” before walking to the back.

Raw GM Adam Pearce attempted to stop McIntyre on the ramp and prevent him from leaving, but Drew just brushed past him uttering “I’m serious”.

WWE cameras then showed McIntyre talking with WWE CCO Triple H in Gorilla position, with McIntyre walking out of the arena as Triple H and Pearce tried to talk him round. McIntyre then deactivated his social media channels.

The June 21 edition of WWE SmackDown in Chicago is set to feature a CM Punk appearance, and it remains to be seen if McIntyre has a receipt for the ‘Second City Saint’.
