Jack Perry 'Fine' After Being Set On Fire At AEW Double Or Nothing

Update on Jack Perry following AEW Double Or Nothing

Jack Perry had an eventful evening on Sunday, May 26 when he joined his Elite stablemates the Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada to take on Team AEW of Bryan Danielson, FTR, and Darby Allin in Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing.

Perry ended up crashing a 'scapegoat' truck into a pile of debris that presumably contained Darby Allin during the match and he was later set on fire with a flamethrower by Darby. Perry was only on fire for a few seconds until he was extinguished by the Young Bucks and AEW personnel.

While Perry was part of such a dangerous spot, he was able to continue with the match and he ultimately scored the winning pinfall on Bryan Danielson following a Busaiku Knee to the American Dragon.

Since the match, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported that Jack Perry is "fine."

"Jack Perry was fine after the fire spot, no issues," Alvarez tweeted.

Perry has been back on All Elite Wrestling programming since he helped the Young Bucks win the AEW World Tag Team Championships at April's Dynasty pay-per-view. He had been with New Japan Pro-Wrestling since the beginning of the year as he constructed his 'scapegoat' gimmick. In addition to being in The Elite, Perry remains a member of NJPW's House of Torture stable.
