Kris Statlander Provides Update On Recovery From Injury

Kris Statlander has been out of action since August 2022

Just over a year after she returned to AEW following a knee injury, Kris Statlander was put back on the shelf after suffering a similar affliction, tearing her right ACL during an AEW Dark match.

Out of action since August 2022, Statlander recently made a special appearance on AEW TV to celebrate with Best Friends teammate Orange Cassidy after OC defeated PAC for the All-Atlantic Championship, but there’s still a ways to go for Statlander who revealed to HollywoodLife that she’ll be rehabbing her knee for the remainder of the year:

“What are my plans for October and the rest of the year? Mostly just recovering from my knee surgery, getting stronger, and getting myself ready to get back in the ring,” said Statlander.

After news broke of Statlander’s injury, conservative estimates put Statlander out of action for six-to-eight months, with ‘The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien’ having suffered a tear in her right ACL, a little under two years after tearing the ACL in her left knee.

Before the most recent injury, Statlander was in the midst of a push in the AEW Women’s division.
