Report: Roxanne Perez Cleared For WWE NXT In-Ring Return

Roxanne Perez will be back in action on WWE NXT soon

Roxanne Perez is set to make her return to WWE NXT, having been cleared for in-ring action, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

"So she is okay, cleared, and will be worked back into storylines as soon as...probably starting on (tonight's) show. Somehow they're gonna get her back in the mix. Whatever the issue was, they got a good report. It's not an injury, but it's just a situation that could have kept her out and that's why they did the (ambulance) thing as kind of like a backup thing, and everything's cool, and from what I was told, they're gonna start working her back in," Meltzer said.

Perez has been off NXT TV since collapsing on March 7 at Roadblock following her successful NXT Women's Title defence against Meiko Satomura. It was noted the following week that a Ladder Match will be held at Stand & Deliver on April 1 for the NXT Women's Title and a new champion would be crowned if Perez couldn't wrestle at the show.

Perez collapsing was a storyline angle but Dave Meltzer noted following the incident that it was a "cover story for something", before he claimed the NXT Women's Champion was dealing with an undisclosed medical issue
