Toxic Attraction Pulled From WWE Women's Tag Title Tournament

Due to an injury

WWE announced on Monday evening that Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction have been pulled from the tournament to crown new WWE Women's Tag Team champions, due to an injury sustained by Dolin.

To fill Toxic Attraction's place in the eight-team tournament, a "second chance" fatal four way match will take place on this Friday's episode of SmackDown.

There's no word on what four teams will take part in that match, though it could well be the four teams that were already eliminated in the quarterfinals. The four teams consist of Dana Brooke and Tamina, Xia Li and Shotzi, Nikki ASH and Doudrop, and Natalya and Sonya Deville.

This marks the second time that a change has had to be made to the tournament field. Dolin and Jayne themselves were a substitution for Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons, after Stark sustained a concussion during her match with Mandy Rose at NXT Heatwave last Tuesday.

Dolin and Jayne defeated Natalya and Deville in Stark and Lyons' place on Friday's SmackDown in Montreal.
